Conference venue, accommodation and arrival

The conference venue will take place in the Hotel JEF in Doubice (see map), Czech Republic where the participants will also be accommodated. The hotel is situated close to the church (see a close-up map). The Hotel JEF accepts payments in Czech koruna, EURO and by credit cards, but there is not an exchange office directly in the hotel. The village Doubice is situated close to the German border, in Northern Bohemia, in the area of Saxonian-Bohemian Switzerland.

By Train

Please note !

The EC trains connection between Prague and Decin (direction to Dresden) has been cancelled due to August flood in Czech Republic and Germany. And also there is no direct connection from Dresden to Decin !

However, the fast trains from Prague to Decin are running !

There is essentially no public transport from Decin to Doubice. All participants (except for those who arrive by car) are expected to arrive in Decin and the conference organizers will organize shuttle transportation from Decin to the conference venue by car and/or minibus. We plan preliminarily minibuses leaving Decin on Saturday (late) afternoon/evening and on Sunday evening.
